Move
There are many ways to get to Mai Chau.
You can choose one of these two routes:
Route 1 is 140 km long, if riding a motorbike: Nguyen Trai – Quang Trung – Ba La – Chuc Son – Xuan Mai, Luong Son – Ky Son, Hoa Binh – Cao Phong, Tan Lac – Thung Khe Pass – Mai Chau.
Route 2 is 150 km long, if traveling by car: Thang Long Avenue (Trung Hoa Underpass) – Xuan Mai – Luong Son – Ky Son, Hoa Binh – Cao Phong, Tan Lac – Thung Khe Pass – Mai Chau.
If you take a bus, stop at Tong Dau intersection and get off to catch a motorbike taxi for another 5 km to Mai Chau town center.

Eat and drink

Schedule
Day 1: Hanoi – White Rock Pass (Thung Khe Pass) – Mai Chau
On the road from Hanoi to Mai Chau, you will pass Thung Khe Pass, also known as White Rock Pass, located on National Highway 6 connecting Tan Lac and Mai Chau.
If you travel from Hanoi in the morning, you will arrive in Mai Chau around noon.

Go Lao Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Mai Chau, in Phuc San commune, about 15 km from Mai Chau.
