On the evening of December 29, while out watching Christmas with his family, Mike Molitoris, an asset manager in Cary, North Carolina, heard information on the radio that money would be distributed to people via direct deposit.

The next morning, Molitoris checked again and saw the funds pending in his account and available from January 4.

`I was really shocked,` Molitoris said, adding that this amount includes all allowances for himself, his wife and three young children.

Mike Molitoris could be one of the first to receive money from the government’s second relief package.

Molitoris could be one of the first to receive money from the US government’s second relief package.

The Molitoris family plans to spend part of the money they receive to help others, as this year has been relatively good for them.

`Obviously there are a lot of people in need, so we try to help some charities because they need it,` Molitoris said.

You can also use part of the money to boost the local economy.

If there is money left over, Molitoris will save on healthcare costs.

The Covid-19 relief package worth 900 billion USD, to support people due to the Covid-19 pandemic, was approved by the US Congress on December 21 and signed by President Donald Trump on December 27, after several days of delay.

The second relief payment is expected to help families and individuals in difficulty pay for essential needs such as rent, electricity, water and food.

Individuals with income higher than 75,000 USD but less than 87,000 USD will receive a lower amount than 600 USD, while those with income above 87,000 USD will receive nothing.

However, some people expressed disappointment because this time the amount was only half the relief amount in March.
