Currently, the city has two officials, 67 preschool children and students coming and going from epidemic areas in China.
Director of the Department of Education and Training Chu Xuan Dung chaired the online meeting on the afternoon of February 25.
Some Departments of Education and Training have coordinated with district police to review officials, teachers, and students from epidemic areas other than China.
The leader of the Department of Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem district said: `We must coordinate with specialized agencies and advise the district People’s Committee on measures to apply to this group. To date, no one has been suspected.
Faced with the request of Hanoi People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung that each classroom have an electronic thermometer to measure students’ body temperature twice a day, most district leaders said they were not prepared enough.
A representative of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Anh district said that the entire district has 226 educational establishments with nearly 2,700 classes.
Chairman of Thach That District People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hong, said that giving each class an electronic thermometer is impossible because the whole district has up to 1,500 classes.
The Ministry of Health provides guidance on Covid-19 prevention for students.
Some districts have installed additional faucets and sinks on school grounds so that students can wash their hands with soap regularly instead of using antiseptic solutions or dry hand sanitizers;
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Anh, Deputy Director of the City Center for Disease Control, said that localities and schools need to continue to train and propagate basic knowledge for officials, teachers and students to prevent disease.

On February 21, in the context that 15 out of 16 people infected with nCoV in Vietnam were discharged from the hospital, and since February 13, no new cases have been recorded, City Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung decided to give students a break for the rest of the month.
