Master Collection is a remake of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, with superior frame rates and resolution.

When Koei Tecmo released Ninja Gaiden on Xbox in 2004, they set a new standard for the hack n’ slash game genre.

Players can consider Ninja Gaiden as a prequel to Dark Souls because of the tension of the combat.

Nearly two decades later, Ninja Gaiden Master Collection returned to modern gaming consoles, such as the Nintendo Switch.

The collection itself contains Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 & 2 as well as Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, and each installment features the exact same gameplay as it did in its early days to critical acclaim and gamers alike.

The gameplay is quite fast, fun and challenging.

One inch wrong, one mile away, just carelessness and the game is over.

As for the visuals, the games haven’t had any changes, but the updated graphics will stand out on systems like the Switch, especially Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

Some players said that in Ninja Gaiden 2 there were quite a few moments of reduced frame rate, even in the first level, the tutorial level.

Despite some flaws in games 2 and 3, Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection is worth adding to every gamer’s Switch platform.
