The program commemorating the 14th anniversary of the death of musician Trinh Cong Son (April 1, 2001 – April 1, 2015) was held in three cities: Saigon, Hanoi and Hue, with the theme `Connecting Circles`.
Despite difficulties in applying for funding to carry out a large-scale music series, the organizing committee continues to pursue the event’s criteria: no ticket sales, free service for the audience.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Truc – representative of the organizing committee – said that with three music nights in three cities expected to attract 35,000 spectators, the budget to implement the program cannot be less than 4-5 billion VND.
`But Trinh Cong Son’s family and the performers did not do that. In all the programs to commemorate Mr. Son up to now, we have never dared to commercialize his name. This is not a music night.
Duc Tuan is one of many artists associated with music nights remembering Trinh Cong Son.
Ho Chi Minh City is the starting point of the night `Joining Big Hands`, taking place on the evening of May 23 at Crescent Park, Phu My Hung urban area, District 7. The event starts at 4:00 p.m. with musical activities.
The program script and participating artists remained almost the same throughout the three shows.
26 performances were performed at the program with musical pieces focused on love for homeland, country, and human condition.
On this occasion, the organizing committee also awarded a writing contest about Trinh’s Music, introduced a music scholarship named after Trinh Cong Son and launched the book Trinh’s Music in Me.
At 7:00 a.m. on May 17, the organizers started distributing tickets for Trinh 2015 music night. The ticket distribution location took place at Phu My Hung, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
